I do believe that Scots and Italians have to mix a few Defense retinues in there for a few Archers, but that's the only mixing needed. They are pretty much the best unit in the game. Is there a more optimal way to do this? Showing 1 - 12 of 12 comments. However until I get a sizeable retinue cap, I have to mix them.Īs far as army comp, I have little clue what I'm doing. Currently I like to keep retinue armies and levy armies completely separate and have my retinue only armies be roughly around 10k and have all flanks be nearly identical unless I want to use Calvary. So a part of this game that I could never understand well is exactly how I should be using retinues. Home Discussions Workshop Market Broadcasts.
